What's a good short shift kit for E36 BMW M3?
I have been told to buy UUC short shift kit, but it's more then I am willing to spend. Any suggestions on a good short shift kit thats under $200?
I have installed a shift lever form a Z4 in my E34 and I love it. The throw is about half what it was and it very tight however it sits very low in the opening. They only run like $67 or something like that but you should do some looking. I know the M3 has a slightly different bend to it so it may not work as well for you as it did for me. There may be other options out there using a factory shifter though. I also had a UUC shifter with the barring setup and I have to say that it was very nice. It was worth every penny.
