Turbo or Supercharger for Integra?

I have a 96 Acura Integra LS. I am very familiar with Honda and Acura. (In one instance exchanged B16 before), but when it comes to forced induction im Clueless. I was wondering what would be cheaper, turbo or sc? And the least expensive, someone Can I provide a list and as a price for what I need to know the turbo and intercooler and turbo guages same ie electrical equipment and components optional ie turbo timer. thx

Well, I've never really worked with the non-VTEC engines, but supposedly your LS (B18B) is supposed to be great engine Turbocharge. I guess it's because of its lower compression and its capacity for decent house to take boost. With all my experience in the forced induction and chemicals, has been with B and H Series DOHC VTEC's. Regarding Im ... supercharging is the only way to go with a four-cylinder engine. Mainly because the couple is so low and the red area is so high. A compressor provides excellent low end of mid-Grunt the most engines Honda lacks. Most people describe a compressor on a VTEC engine as a sort of "Super VTEC. By far ... this is the way forward. I never been a big fan of turbochargers on Honda engines. Most engines with Honda as Boost, unless the house is properly constructed and power Pioneering a turbocharger doesn't come until around 6500 rpm ... which leaves you with another 1500 rpm to Redline power. Forget not to lag either. With the compressor, the power is instantaneous ... no wait Spool it up as the turbocharger. I have a 00 Civic Si Coupe which is equipped with a ProCharger intercooled compressor system as we speak. I'm in the final stages of installation, I should be the installation of approximately 300 WHP to 9 pounds of boost. As for prices, it will be both about the same ... I paid about $ 4000 for my kit compressor exchanger ... turbo kit will run about $ 3000 - $ 4000. Seriously, you can do your own research on turbo kits ... this is not so difficult navigate through Spares, sites such as Greddy, Apexi, Turbonetics and or find the info you need.
