Is it good to give my dog Triple Flex for arthritis? And there aspirin in it? And what are the side effects when administered to a dog?
Just Google. Triple Flex is in the class of compounds called "nutraceuticals". Its basically a nutritional supplement that claims to have properties pharmaceuticals. There is much anecdotal evidence again. use of these products, unfortunately there is not much good, peer tests passed review them, and those who were not able to find any effects. This does not mean they do not work, only that they have not been conclusively shown * * working. For what it's worth, I give my dog a supplement like (although designed for dogs). You are not likely to do any harm, and you can do good. There is no anti-inflammatory drug component to this product (aspirin, for example), in it, should not interact negatively with an NSAID.
