BYPASS VALVE question?
I just recently installed a Vortech bypass valve on my Stang with a compressor Paxton Novi 1000. I discharging the air atmosphere, essentially using it as a blow off valve. My question is: should we go through air at low speed cruising or gas anywhere? When I nail gauge my throttle boost steadily increased to 13 psi and holds up I let him go. It does not matter how I adjust the spring tension. I was just curious to know if this is normal or should it close to each Once I touch the throttle? Thank you for all your input!
It should be closed, except for situations such as vacuum when you let go of the throttle at high revs. It should be closed the rest of the hour.
