How do I know if a speed sensor is still good?
95 Dodge Avenger 2.5L V6 A / T. Is there a way to test a speed sensor wheel without take to the dealer or repair shop? This is an electronic sensor, so I guess it's gotta be a way to test or simply look at whether it's good or bad. Sensors engine that you can, but how do you test a wheel speed sensor?
The first speaker is a little further ... with a digital multimeter, you are in search of the AC voltage, not resistance. Unplug the sensor, the sensor plug, and rotate the wheel one by one, to see which wheel generates an alternating voltage wrong ... one with low or no tension is the culprit. A speed sensor wheels is not a folk VSS ...
