Difference between silicon and lithium grease?
What is the difference between fat and fat silicone Litium? What would be preferable used to lubricate the clutch on my Subaru WRX STI? Is either flammable?
I hope you mean to lubricate the joint or cable, but not the clutch ... What about the lithium grease or any regular grease would be a better choice as main advantage of silicone lubricant is that it is "healthy food" and used wherever they may be ingested accidentally (not should not be a problem with a link clutch .. lol). Your main objectives should be lubrication, rust prevention, waterproofing.
