Does a Renault Traffic van 1996 have a lock switch the neutral?
A device detects when both of a pair of chopsticks a transmission selector is in neutral and switch activates a part fixed in the upper housing of the transmission to allow the circuit ignition engine. One stem has a medium on which is pivotally mounted lever which has the lower arm which cooperates with a cam track on the other stem. When the selector rod moves in either direction from neutral, a tip of the forearm drops in one or other of the two folds trail cam and the lever drops. An upper lever arm then releases the push of a button operation of the switch part. Sometimes trying start the van with no lights illuminated when the ignition key is turned .......... battery terminals have been cleaned and tightened and battery is good ........ I try to identify the problem and I wonder if the truck is this device and if so, can it be disabled because it is a problem ... thank you
You have absolutely no idea what you do with this truck. No, there is nothing on the side box speed to inhibit starting. I suggest you get an auto electrician to take a look. I would say that your description of the above only means that you have found the switch back!
