I need to make a 3 meter high Stone hinge model for school?
Can anyone give me ideas as to what type of equipment should I use to create a large 3ft Stone Hinge for school?
you could use paper chewed on the tubes, paper or plaster of Paris on a wire. Paper mache is cheaper. Simply log, tape and paste the wallpaper. Roll the logs to form narrow tubes. Bind them with tape, then build a frame in the shape of each stone. Once you have a frame, you can cover it with strips of newspaper dipped in wallpaper paste (ask your grandfather) to build the shape you want with a layer of paper and then when its dry, paint. You may want to put the stones on an individual (green paint) The base could be any type of society as hardboard or particle board. For a more robust use a wire and cover it with chicken wire and strips of cloth soaked in plaster of Paris.
