Is it OK to wear flats Racing x-country road race?
Just curious if I should wear my trainers or racing homes.
I do not wear flats, but my father did when he races. Of course, they will probably help a little speed, but not a significant amount if you just want to wear your trainers. It depends on what you want. He said his calf was very ill afterwards (and the next day), so if you do not have a hard run or run at all the next day to leave the apartment. However, if you have practice or a race the next day, perhaps just go trainers to avoid burning.
