I need Digging my race car that can increase my 5 pounds empty.?
I have a cam that takes 10 pounds vacuum at 1000 rpm / Min and I need to pull 15 lbs. I run a 1 / 2 mile dirt oval track, I have a motor 355, gear 411 and 441 heads any recomendations would be a great help. I had a cam Custum made and it does not work and everyone I talked to said it should the cam and I started with was awsome but does not vacuum.
Rhodes lifters can. But they can also kill your engine. My brother replaced the lifters in the 350 with Rhodes lifters, they Got 1 / 3 of a mile on the road on a trial run when the cam off. A large number of trackers Circle of use and do not have problems, just be careful and lube everything correctly, even pull the cam and use Brake Lube again.
