I have a dell laptop and I am trying to connect a HP LaserJet printer. Will parallel / USB cable port work?
The computer laptop is Vista. It should recognize the HP printer when I more into the cable, but it does not. I tried dowloading the driver etc., and it still does not work. Is there a specific cable or cable work? Vista is causing the problem, HP said that HP 2280tn will run in the Vista environment.
Any USB function. Maybe the software needs to update it.
