Is a loopset are truly the performance of your car and better fuel economy?
I just ordered an outside eBay and wondered what they really add to the economy and performance? I have a 2.0litre Ford Focus Zetec, cheers all
It varies from vehicle to vehicle. Some models may see significant gains, with CAI, the S197 Mustang GT is a good example of that. But many do not. Focus on a 2-liter I doubt if it makes a difference at all. Now to clarify some incorrect information some people have posted robertbaddington - This is the MAF meter is for. It tells the ECU how much fuel to introduce into the engine. It maintains the mixture at any appropriate weather. The MAF meter is located upstream of the intake air, so it is possible to adjust the ECU for the increased amount of air. A remap ECU is usually not necessary, but it can be very beneficial for some models. Dr. Kenneth Noisewater - should also mentioning that the stock air intake must be built for the costs to be viable for mass production. Stock air intakes are much better than before being granted, but they are not as good as they could be.
