Chrome or air tubes, plastic kits, high performance air?
I have a K & N in my 2000 Grand Prix GT has the 3.8. Well, I was looking in getting either a K & N for 97 Silverado 5.7 1 ton. Do air tubes chrome have a lot of different sound that of an air tube in plastic? I'm looking on eBay and found to get the cheap vs K & N. All comments and suggested would be appreciated.
and the chrome will warm more than black plastic defeating the purpose of a cold air intake.
