How can you cap knob and tube wiring old traffic light bulb in the closet?
I demo the wall cupboard to save doors closet and be down to the studs. I found two son to run a bare plot with a light fixture old bulb socket and I want to delete This lighting and cap off the wiring. Should I put a junction box on the blocks, the son running through it and top it with nuts for security and then of course the box? Do I need to leave the junction box of the CAP flush with the drywall to access?
As the wife of a electrcian ~ HIGHGLY I recommend you rent a electrcian allowed to come to your house and take a look at themselves .... I have heard many horror stories of things going wrong because a homeowner decided to take matters into their hands.
