How do I take the wrap off the drum kit diablo DDRUM?
I have a diablo DDRUM cheap 5 piece kit that I play with (because my "real set is a blank (no sparkle or anything) 1972 Slingerland set which includes a 24" kick and 18 " floor tom and the set is in near perfect condition), so that I remove the blue film on the kit DDRUM and mess with some finishes different ideas like that. Anyways, let me know.
To begin, you will probably need a heat gun because it is sealed same drum. Then get a nice hand sander (electric or a bunch of sand paper would work) to sand off the glue left on. But you will need a heat gun. Good luck. My husband had a new kit finished about 9 years ago. It shows really nice.
