The switch to Royal Purple?

Hey, I just bought a 2009 Mustang GT with a manual trans. I'm changing all the fluids plant Royal Purple. Oil and differential are easily the question I have is the manual transmission, said Syncromax be used instead where the fluid is automatic transmission spec. and he synerlec, the ATF did not synerlec MAX. The manual says to use ATF MERCON owners. which must be and he really cancel my warranty. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you ..
