Why on earth, the West is not pursuing fuel cell hydrogen as the Manhattan Project?

Then, the fuel cell, it turns back into electricity and water. That's a reversible chemical process, exactly what happens in a battery. All energy comes from electricity - hydrogen 'bears' it. * Except that the whole process of hydrogen is much less efficient than a battery, especially considering the waste energy transport and storage of hydrogen. (By contrast, a pure EV loads over, 95% efficiency.) * In addition, a car fuel cell will always be more expensive than an electric car, because you take an electric car, then adding a cell fuel for it. * The only advantage that hydrogen could make electric cars is fueling rapid.
