oven spark does not get in the house moldular?
my son `s oven does not work, it was not pumping oil, my husband and son put a new pump in, it is pumping oil now, but it has no spark, will not Lite, is there a way to test electrical parts furnace?
If you do not know much about this oven, it can be very dangerous to work ... If you pump more oil in the combustion chamber it will explode to light .... call a HVAC tech and let them come and check ..... but to check what you have to do is to Remove pump assembly from the burner so it will not pump oil ... Turn off the power .... then you remove the transformer and tilt it sideways or whatever direction hinges allow it to influence .... take a piece of tape and put it on the front of the camera eyepiece mounted on the processor ... should be a discussion with two yellow son ..... then you can test transformer .... turn thermostat all the way up turn power back on .... use a long handle with a grip scredriver great insulation and wear a rubber glove ... Screwdriver to touch both predictions electrode transformer ... then slowly pull away for a while yet touching another ... there should be a spark of bright yellow and Blue followed midway between the two tips on the processor .... if it does not make the processor is bad ... reset Button will also travel to out in 90 seconds and shut off the oven .... all processors have 18,000 volts to be very careful .... if there is a good spark to level you must shoot your electrode assembly out of the furnace ... To do this, you must remove the nut off the fuel line where it passes in the chamber of the burner ... once you've done this and have removed the line in the oil chamber of the burner nozzle Assembly draw Staright know ... electrodes should be 1 / 8 inch apart .. e next thing to check is if the spear can be for example 1.00 to 90 ... what this means is 1 gallon per hour at 90 degree angle spray ... then the electrodes would need to be exactly in line with the party upper front of the nozzle ... 80 degrees to the electrodes will be at an angle of 80 degrees past the front of the nozzle ... you can buy a tooll sliding on the front of the nozzle to set this value to most places that sell fuel oil furnace units. replace with new nozzles exactly the same .... assemble all .. remove red photocell .... reconnect pump and burner be sure .... and fire with the oven more ... take towels paper and try to absorb most of the oil that you've already sprayed into the oven ... again i recommend that you do not do this if you do not know how ... you can be electrocuted or blow up if the oven explodes from having to much oil in the ground ...
