Bring to Burning Man or not?
I was wondering if it would be contrary to the rules to wear a boa constrictor Burning Man. We are going into a camper when the time comes and the speaker is quite mobile (light and not too large). The climate control there would not be a problem, so I guess if the weather does not permit, I could just leave the snake in the enclosure all the time. I looked on the website and they only speak of dogs there. Someone he saw that there was someone with a snake? Is this a bad idea?
I always assumed the rule of non-dog mean no pets or animals in general. I think you probably will not be able to make your snake. However, I understand the difference between a snake who lives full time inside, in a cabinet and a dog who will want to go out and run around the event. I would check with the staff of Burning Man, try emailing dogs@burningman.com since that looks like it would be someone who deals with issues of company and ask them. It sucks to leave the event with your snake, and then find that you can not enter, so ask in advance (I thought the answer will not, but it does not hurt to ask).
