MSD Ignition box making weird sound?
I have a highly customized 1993 Mustang. It has a trickflow engine kit, that's chipped. Practically everything is performance in it.
Anyway, I have an MSD Ignition Box on the passenger side floor in the car but I've noticed that its kind of loud. It makes a ticking sound. I really can't tell if its really affecting the car because I have a racing cam so it idles very rough anyway.
Is it normal for them to tick?
It does not affect the car at all. Not the rpm, power, anything. It just makes a buzzing/ticking sound coming from the box. hmmmm, maybe its a fuzzing sound.
if that ticking changes speed with the rpms of the engine, id be a bit concerned.
