Questoin about the word "GEAR"?
Hello, I just received a piece of mail from a company of auto parts and they began the letter saying "Dear REDUCER. "To me, this term lumps me together with car enthusiasts choose - ie tuners, wrenchers, gasseri Old School, Hot Rodder, etc., I would say that is an offensive term, but I had the impression that the company was attempting establish a connection with me and failed. Think they should know a little about me before they assumed. So just wanted to get some advice on the use of the word, as we had a debate where I work on this and have had conflicting thoughts .. What are your thoughts on the use of the term "gear?
Being a guy "because" in the soul, the reduction of term does not bother me.I have been making a living as a mechanic for 13 years and have been an avid enthusiast since the age of 12.The end I take offense to the fat is monkey.I hate it.
