Engine Swap?? HELP ???!?!?!??!?!?!?!?
Can I replace my 97 'with engine Cavilier like a Honda Civic or Mitsubishi Eclipse or Evolution engine and if so .. How much will it cost ?????
Which engine do u have now? 1996-2002 Chevy Cavalier Z24s had the 2.4L LD9 Twin Cam which was about 150hp stock. I think you should look for a Cavalier Z24 for this generation and exchange on the engine. The pieces must be interchangeable with just bolt ons, you will zoom through the city. There were other cars that had this engine and you'll find for these low prices if the body is in poor condition. Check the website first to see the other cars that have this engine. As for prices, I really can not give you an estimate. You should go to town and ask a few mechanics. But I really recommend this engine rather than import them because it will not be as much work and probably cheaper.
