Saab 9-3 Convertible (2000 model) Roof Problems?
Hey, my roof has developed a problem. The fabric liner works well but the plastic cover that hides the roof open "does not raise without manual intervention (which contribute light is needed, though) and then slammed into the low once the roof is fully retracted. Often, the locking tabs are closed, menaing cover does not lock. I can move the button Roof backward and forward, lift the lid again, then they will open and lock as usual. I checked the level in the Reservior hyd - it There was a little weak, but now filled by the marks ($ 50 for 0.5l - flight!). We examined the springs (intact) and HYD RAM (no leaks) in the boot. Any ideas on what to test / check next?
Check the rear quarter panel in the right side of the trunk behind the curtain, there is a rod with a universal joint, the joint has a pin that breaks. I think you should replace the seal, or perhaps the PIN is replaceable, I can not remember. This is quite common and usually the dealer has in stock.
