Tried to jump a car. When the cables are plugged in, the other cars motor died and now will not start.?
A 2001 Eclipse tempted to skip a Silverado 85. Cables have been connected to right. I had the cables plugged into the battery flat in the Silverado and when I plugged the battery running the eclipse just died. Now, the eclipse will not start. The battery is good and he simply clicks trying to start. What happened? Do I burn the starter, starter solenoid, or the computer. I just realized that the key truck ignition was turned halfway when the cables were shot. Could I have done blow fuse battery?
Check your battery terminals and clean them, 8 out of 10 times is that the oxidation and cleaning will fix that. Also check Wholesale fuses near the battery, your Chevy may have had a short and overloaded your car system. BTW, don `t try to start a diesel engine with a car battery manufactured abroad.
